Theodoros Terzopoulos(Greece)

Born in 1945, Theodoros Terzopoulos is the founder and director of Attis Theatre. He has served as director of the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece, as artistic director of the International Meeting of Ancient Drama in Delphi and as president of the International Institute of Mediterranean Theatre. He is chairman of the International Committee of the Theatre Olympics since its founding in 1994. Terzopoulos has directed and produced performances around the world featuring collaborations with many international theatres and actors. Today, the new method for performing and interpreting Greek tragedy which he developed is taught at drama schools and classical studies departments in universities around the world. He was the artistic director of the 1st Theatre Olympics.
