To first-time visitors to Toga

  • ・There are only two public city buses per day running to Toga from Etchu-Yatsuo St./Inami St.
    We recommend taking the charter buses that are scheduled in conjunction with the performances.
  • ・Accommodations in Toga are limited, so make your reservation early.
  • ・There are no convenience stores or shops around the area. Food and merchandise can be purchased at the Gurume-kan (food court).
  • ・There are no ATMs in the village, so we suggest you bring a fair amount of cash with you. There are a few shops/restaurants in Gurume-kan that accept credit cards.
  • ・There are many insects during the summer. We suggest that you bring insect repellent and proper attire for protection.
  • ・Temperature can drop below 10 degrees Celsius in the morning and evenings. Be sure to bring warm clothes with you.

Nanto-city public bus (Runs every day, no reservation required)

    *Regarding bus service on the afternoons of Sept. 1&2, the Etchu-Yatsuo station bus stop will change location due to traffic regulation from the Owara Kaze no Bon Festival (the relocated bus stop is approximately 3km from EtchuYatsuo station). For your convenience, we recommend that you take the Toyama Charter Bus on Sept. 1.

〈Transportation to Kurobe〉

Shuttle Buses to Venues in Kurobe (Free of charge, no reservation required)
Shuttle buses will depart from the following main stations and specially arranged parking lots, 2 hours prior to the start of the performance.

  • ・JR Hokuriku Shinkansen Kurobe-Unazuki Onsen Station (East exit rotary bus stop [D])
    *1 minute walk from Toyama Chihou Railway Shin-Kurobe Station.
  • ・Ainokaze Toyama Railway Kurobe Station
  • ・Park Special Parking lots
    *There is no parking at the venues in Kurobe. For those coming by car, please use the Special Parking. There are shuttle buses available from the Special Parking to the venues.

〈Toga/Gokayama〉

Buses will run from Toga Art Park to each accommodation in Toga After the last performance of that day. On the mornings of the next day, buses will run from each accommodation to Toga Art Park for the first program.
Accommodations are limited in Toga, so make your reservation early.

〈Kurobe〉

We have a selection of ryokan/hotels located near the Unazuki Onsen area available. A shuttle bus will run from the Maezawa garden Open Air Stage to each accommodation after the performance.
