Takada Midori（Japan）

Born in 1951, composer/percussionist Takada Midori debuted in 1978 with the Rias Symphony Orchestra in Berlin, Germany. Since then, she has toured and performed extensively as a percussion soloist with a variety of artists and ensembles, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has since participated in various collaborations with theatre, dance and visual artists that transcend the notion of "genre". In Suzuki Tadashi's production of Electra, she was on stage not only as a musician performing her own music, but also as an actor. Since 2017, she has been touring and performing solo concerts internationally.
